Euro Disney

Free as birds, free as children, never aging, what a life!

Sunset over Euro Disney

The cool kids I went with

Vince brought two free passes to Euro Disney with him. Euro Disney is located just outside Paris and with the persuasion of Denver, another UCI friend, I realized I could not pass up the opportunity to experience Disney in France.

It was drizzling a bit but this kept the crowds away. We had a great time walking around, acting like kids, riding rides, and reminiscing about Disneyland in California. Euro Disney seemed smaller than Disneyland but it had pretty much the same layout. Most of the important rides were there but a few favorites were not present, Matterhorn and Splash Mountain we severely missed. Pirates was bizarre, almost the exact same layout but just different enough to throw you off. Indiana Jones is a fast roller coaster with a loop and a corkscrew but you still feel like you are going to lose your head on Thunder Mountain. All in all a great experience and tons of fun with good friends!
