Thanksgiving in Paris Nov 27th

Thanksgiving Preparations, sorry I didn't take more pictures, Ben has photos of the actual dinner, I will post those when I get them.

I prepared Thanksgiving dinner Chez Moi for my English Teaching colleagues at Jean Vigo junior high. It was their first ever Thanksgiving, and my first time cooking Thanksgiving dinner. They were very gracious and told me that everything was delicious. The menu was:
-Green salad with mushrooms, tomatoes, corn, onions, and bell pepper with a vinaigrette mustard dressing, not my favorite part of the meal.
-Cornbread, my second favorite part, their favorite.
-Apple Stuffing, they also liked this.
-Sweet Potato Stuffing, I thought this turned out especially well.
-Garlic Mashed Potatoes, with LOTS of garlic. Oops.
-Turkey Brest Fillets, couldn't find a whole turkey to roast.
-Rotisserie Hallal Chicken, one of the guests was Muslim and only eats Hallal. The chicken meat was much better than my turkey, rats!
-Pumpkin Pie, which my guests liked a lot, as did I. After having good pumpkin pie in America I was a bit dissapointed by my own, but the taste (which was very close to right on) brought back memories of spending Thanksgivings at Michigan Ave. I was sad to spend this holiday away from my grandparent's house, it was the first Thanksgiving that I can remember not being there.
